 Our first dedication was the Carrie's grand-daughter, followed by Tara and Brigham's son Abraham Burgess Booher, with a third baby being dedicated on the last Sunday of July. Quite impressive since we have such a small congregation but it is a blessing to see parents dedicating their children to the Lord with the brothers and sisters of the church supporting them. Add Comment Summer and it is time for church picnics. 07/27/2011

Just returned from a great Saturday workshop learning about relationships - communication, positive energy (and not the new age kind either), nurturing and more. We had the pleasure of hearing Wendy and Brian Pidkaminy speak about how important relationships are in every aspect of our lives. We all agreed we want to hear more. Several months ago I was able to hear Wendy talk about the nurtured heart and her children.  And what would fellowship be without food. We had requests for recipes to two of the dishes we shared today. Maria Consuelo mad a delicious Salsa and Scott made his famous tortellini salad.  We have picked out our curriculum and are busy planning for this year's VBS and we couldn't do it without the wonderful people who volunteer to be a part of it. One such team is the men and women pictured here. Ever year they arrive before the children and other adults and begin to prepare a dinner for the children. The children particularly look forward to this not just because they have a delicious meal but they connect with friends they met here the year before.
